Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy

Includes our Clinic Fee, Dietitian, The Fresh Start Program & Anaesthetist Fee

Your procedure will be billed directly to Medicare for the surgeon and surgical assistant fee.

CLINIC FEE: $6,500

The clinic fee is due one week prior to the procedure.

This Includes:

• All of your aftercare by Dr Martin.
• Follow-up consultations at 4 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months..
• Yearly appointments* following surgery to make sure you are on track. (*Note: A current GP referral is required for all follow-up appointments to be bulk billed.)
• DIETITIAN: Post-surgery consultations at 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months.
• FRESH START PROGRAM: A comprehensive 2-year support, education and coaching program designed to help you maintain a healthy lifestyle.

ANAESTHETIST Fee: $1,300
This must be paid directly by you to the anaesthetist prior to surgery. The rebate is approximately $250.

HOSPITAL FEE: $11,800
This includes the theatre fee, disposables and one night in hospital. You will need to pay this fee directly to the hospital prior to admission.

Not Including:

Uninsured patients may have to cover the following additional costs:

• ECG prior to surgery: $70.
• Potential additional blood tests required.
• Fees upon discharge from the hospital for any medications dispensed.
